This Waiver and Release of Liability executed by the undersigned individual in favor of Before and After Sound Lab, its owners, employees, agents, volunteers, affiliates, successors, and assigns.

By signing below, the Participant acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the following:

1. Nature of the Establishment

Before and After Sound Lab is a private, members-only creative space and lounge, dedicated to individuals with a passion for music and sound. The space features a high-fidelity listening room, recording studio, and podcast suite. It is intended for co-creation, collaboration, and private use by members and their guests.

2. Liability Waiver and Release

By entering and participating in activities within Before and After Sound Lab, the Participant hereby agrees to:

• Release, waive, and discharge the Establishment from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action, including but not limited to:

o Personal injury
o Property loss or damage
o Illness (including communicable diseases) o Emotional distress
o Third-party actions

This release applies to incidents occurring on the premises or arising in connection with use of the space or equipment provided by the Establishment.

3. Visitor Policy

Non-members and visitors may only enter the space if they are invited and accompanied by a member at all times. All visitors and non-members are subject to a daily fee and must comply with the same rules and expectations as members.

All visitors must sign this waiver prior to entering the premises.

4. Use of Facility and Equipment

Before and After Sound Lab does not sell or condone the consumption of alcohol on the premises. Any consumption of alcohol is not permitted and is done at the sole discretion and liability of the individual.

Controlled substances are not allowed under any circumstances. The Establishment reserves the right to inspect or check any individual or belongings if there is suspicion of possession or use of illegal substances. If controlled substances are found or suspected, the Establishment will take appropriate action, including but not limited to contacting law enforcement.

Participants acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any equipment or spaces they use (e.g., high-fidelity audio systems, recording studio gear, podcasting equipment), and agree to:

• Operate equipment with care and respect

• Be financially responsible for any damage resulting from misuse or negligence

• Participants and guests assume full responsibility for their actions.

• The Establishment is held harmless from any liability, damage, or injury resulting from

  consumption or actions under the influence.

  5. Acknowledgment of Risk

  Participant understands that creative and lounge activities may carry risks and voluntarily assumes all such risks, including but not limited to physical injury, damage to personal property, or unforeseen accidents.

  6. Photography & Recording

  Participants agree that the Establishment may capture photographs or recordings for documentation or promotion. Please notify management in writing if you prefer not to be included.

  7. Indemnification

  The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Before and After Sound Lab from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from their presence, actions, or participation at the Establishment.

  8. Agreement to Terms
  By signing below, the Participant certifies that:

• They are 21 years of age or older.

• They have read and understood this waiver fully.

• They agree to abide by all house rules, policies, and codes of conduct.
